MIRI: Ministry of Transport Sarawak (MOTS) will further investigate an incident involving a wheelchair-bound AirAsia passenger who was reportedly injured while boarding an aircraft that was about to leave for Kota Kinabalu from here.

Its minister Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin said he received a local newspaper report from his Senadin service centre yesterday morning on the incident.

“I have also requested my Ministry to communicate with AirAsia and get the full report on this incident.

“My Ministry has also conveyed this matter to Malaysia Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) for their attention and further investigation into the incident. As I understand from the news report, the passenger will also lodge an official complaint to MAVCOM,” he said.
