KUCHING: The Ministry for Women, Childhood, and Community Well-being Development has called on its new staff to be dedicated and honest in their work.

Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah said that providing excellent service can help the ministry achieve its goals, as outlined in the Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS2030).

“I urge all the new staff to work hard and continuously improve your abilities, knowledge, expertise, and skills in your respective roles,” she said.

Fatimah encouraged the staff, whether educators or assistants, to be creative, innovative, and competitive in their work.

She also stressed that the staff should not be complacent with their current achievements.

“We must stay positive, proactive, and adaptable in the face of the changes happening around us, including the technological advancements brought by the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0),” she said.

Fatimah further urged the SeDidik team to work together to fulfill their roles and responsibilities in line with SeDidik’s mission and vision.

“The success of any organisation depends on the performance, work quality, and productivity, as well as the moral values held by its staff. I believe that responsible, hardworking, and dedicated staff will perform their tasks wholeheartedly, efficiently, and effectively, meeting the demands of clients and stakeholders,” she added.

Fatimah also said that the staff should adhere to the rules and regulations set by SeDidik and its related agencies.

“Whether they are in the form of operational manuals or other instructions such as circulars, each staff member must comply with them,” she said.
