Ministry wants report on bullying case of student running away from dorm

GEORGE TOWN; The Ministry of Education (KPM) has ordered the school in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur to prepare a complete report regarding the incident of a Form Two student running away from the dormitory of the school because he claimed he could not stand being bullied.

Deputy Education Minister Lim Hui Ying said KPM will take further action after receiving a complete report and conducting an investigation into the bullying incident.

“…it is on our radar, we have instructed the school to make a complete report to be submitted to KPM, we will wait for the report before taking further action,” she said.

KPM in a statement on Saturday informed that the ministry is investigating the alleged bullying involving the student and will ensure that the matter is resolved as soon as possible. — BERNAMA
