BINTULU: A subsidiary of Petroleum Nasional (Petronas), Malaysia LNG (MLNG) celebrated diversity and merriment by organising a Let’s Come Together event for the multiracial community, including government agencies, private sector and its clients.

Managing director and chief executive officer of the MLNG Group of Companies, Mohamed Syazwan Abdullah@Laga Jenggi, said that he was pleased to be able to celebrate the event with his staff, their family members, port users, government agencies, media representatives and local residents of various races, thus showing the uniqueness of celebrating festivities in this country.

“My hope is that with an event like this, it will further deepen friendships with each other, strengthen mutual understanding, and enhance the level of tolerance among us regardless of race, religion and cultural diversity.

“With an event like this, it will indirectly instil the spirit of teamwork, whether in an organisation or in a community institution,” he said when speaking at the Let’s Travel Together MLNG event held at Ming Yen Restaurant, here, on Friday.

In the meantime, Syazwan said organising the open house is also as a platform for him to be with the community and their customers and offers an opportunity to strengthen network and foster deeper relationships, forming one big family.
