KUCHING:  Federal Tourism, Arts and Culture (Motac) Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing clarified that currently there was no latest announcement regarding the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme.

He made the explanation through his official Facebook wall post in response to a recent news article about MM2H programme published by Knowledge Management Center (KMC) of IRIS Institute.

For the record, earlier there was an article in his Facebook entitled ‘Tiong King Sing Cadang Syarat Lebih Longgar Untuk Program MM2H, Risiko Tingkatkan Demografi Asing Terutamanya Dari China’ (Tiong King Sing Suggests Looser Terms for MMH2 Programme, Risk of Increasing Foreign Demographics Especially From China) published on March 13.

“To avoid any confusion, I would like to clarify that the writing of this article is the result of information gathering from various other media sources for compilation into a new article provided by the Knowledge Management Center (KMC) of IRIS Institute.

“I appreciate their efforts in collecting all the old news articles that have been published before and sharing the information with the public.
