SERIAN: Two females died on the spot after the motorcycle they were on collided with a car at 4 am yesterday morning.
Audrey Kymberlee Patrick, aged 28, from Kampung Sg. Duuh was ferrying another female when the accident occurred at Mile 11, Kuching Serian Road. The pillion rider whose identity was not known also died on the spot.
They were heading towards Kuching while the car was from the opposite direction. Both victims were flung a distance from the accident scene.
The 27-year-old female car driver from Taman BDC, escaped with minor injuries but the front of her car was badly damaged.
Meanwhile, the two deceased were brought to the Sarawak General Hospital morgue for a post mortem. This case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
