DALAT: A 28-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing his bike into a stationary pick-up truck at Jalan Kampung Medong-Dalat last Saturday (June 26).
Sarawak Traffic Police chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said the accident happened around 10pm when the victim was travelling towards Dalat from Medong.
“The victim identified as Joeslie Ahmad was riding along the straight road when he suddenly crashed into the back of the pick-up truck.
“Residents nearby heard the crash and rushed to aid the victim by bringing him to Dalat Hospital for immediate treatment,” he said.
However, the victim was pronounced dead while receiving treatment at the hospital.
