KUCHING: A woman driver cheated death when her car crashed into the safety barrier on Satok flyover with the front portion hanging over the edge.
The incident happened around 2pm on Monday (Dec 21) and it was believed that the driver lost control of her vehicle but managed to stop it as the front part of the car over the edge.
The State Fire Department was alerted of the incident and immediately despatched firefighters to the scene.

The driver was reported to be unharmed and the firemen managed to stabilise the vehicle before pulling it back onto the road using an excavator.
The police were also present at the scene to direct the traffic flow to an alternative route to allow authorities to clear the vehicle from hanging over the edge at Satok flyover.
