New grocery store adds shopping option

MUKAH: A newly opened grocery store here has provided an additional option for customers to go shopping.

Located at the Mukah New Township, it offers among other things, essential goods and frozen food items, plus bottled and canned drinks.

New Sarawak Tribune discovered that the prices of goods at the new shopping outlet are competitive.

Since its opening, it has been noted that the response by customers is good despite business here is generally slow due to the current movement control order (MCO) enforced from May 29 to June 14.

Its location is seen as strategic, as it is sited almost at the border of the old town and Mukah New Township.

It is also located near the popular ‘do it yourself’ (DIY) shop and eatery, Medan Ria.

So, thumbs-up to the store owner who has taken a bold move to open such business amid other established shopping centres here.
