MUKAH: Consumers here and the nearby districts of Dalat, Matu and Daro now have more choices as far as buying over-the-counter medicine is concerned with the recent opening of a new pharmacy outlet.

They also have more alternatives to choose from when planning to go for glucose, cholesterol or uric acid tests, while blood pressure check is free of charge.

With the presence of PMG Pharmacy (PMG), this town now has four such outlets, two in the new township and two in the old town.

Like the other pharmacies in town, this new outlet also offers a wide range of medicine, and also other health-related products.

A PMG staff said the outlet also offered glucose, cholesterol and uric acid tests at competitive prices.

“We only offer glucose test now, but not the other two tests because we are currently running out of strips used for the purpose,” she told New Sarawak Tribune on Monday (Dec 7).

She added that a blood pressure check would be free of charge when a customer underwent the other tests.
