KUCHING: The Kuching Teck Choon Anti-Cancer Association celebrates 85 residents of Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah’s Children’s Home, by distributing food and red packets to residents at Penrissen Road on Sunday.
The event was held in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration which would be celebrated on February 16, 2018.
The distribution of food and red packets to the residents was presented by the Assistant Minister of Law, State-Federal Relations and Project Monitoring, Sharifah Hasidah Syeed Aman Ghazali. Residents of Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah’s Children’s Home were also entertained with performances such as the lion dance, singing and Wushu.
Also present were President of Kuching Teck Choon Anti-Cancer Association, Then Shui Ted, Vice President of Maybank, Wilson Tan Swee Kwang, Principal of Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah, Nor Amizi Ariffin and Secretary of Teck Choon Anti-Cancer Society, Roland Teo Yuk Tong.
