SIBU: The Malaysia Civil Defence Force (APM) here destroyed an hornet’s nest that was found hanging under the stairs of a house at Lrg Sentosa Barat 2C, Sibu.
APM carried out the operation after receiving a call at 10am from a member of the public.
The APM personnel started the operation at 7.49pm and ended at 8.27pm.
About the size of two square feet, the hornet’s nest was located under the stairs of the house.
The team then destroyed the nest by setting fire to it and spraying it with Ridsect, a type of insectide.
