MIRI: An elderly man nearly died when a motorcycle fell over him, pinning him underneath yesterday morning.
In the incident that occurred at around 10.30am at Miri-Bintulu Road, the man in his 70s was said to be heading towards Morsjaya from the city centre when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed by the roadside.
As a result of the crash, he was pinned underneath the motorcycle.
The victim who sustained minor injuries in the incident was taken to Miri Hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, three vehicles were involved in an accident at Miri-Pujut Road, Sunday evening.
The incident which occurred at around 7.30pm involved a Proton Wira, Toyota Unser and Isuzu and all three drivers escaped unhurt.
