KUCHING: The Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) Library held a Science and Mathematics Exhibition at Majma Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah (Kompleks Islam Sarawak) Jalan P Ramlee here, yesterday.

Primary school pupils flocked to booths set up by Sultan Iskandar Planetarium (PSI), Kaixona Sdn Bhd, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and Sarawak Mufti Department.

At the exhibition the pupils also participated in activities such as slime-making, banana DNA extraction, and stomata imprint using nail polish at UNIMAS booth.

There was also a session held on stage where an expert of the Sakamoto mathematics technique. showed to the pupils how to solve mathematical problems using the techniques.

Besides, there were also booths on Ilmu Falak and various science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities including educational video games which the pupils could try.

The exhibition was held from 9am to 5pm.
