MULU: A hiker from Sabah sustained body injuries after she reportedly slipped and fell while hiking at Camp 3 in the Mulu National Park here on Tuesday evening.

According to initial report, the hiker identified as Tan Fung Chu,35, is believed to have slipped and fell while hiking at Camp 3 at about 6pm on Tuesday.

After she fell Tan was unable to move.

Miri Fire chief, Law Poh Kiong said that a team from Miri BOMBA Air Unit was deployed to the area yesterday morning.

“A team has been mobilised to the scene at 8am this morning to help bring the injured hiker to Miri Hospital for medical treatment,” Law said.

The team from Miri BOMBA Air Unit arrived with the injured hiker at Miri Hospital around 10.05am yesterday.
