KUCHING: The Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) Logo Design Competition organised by the state government is open to all Sarawakians starting today till July 10. Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Secretary-General, Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi is calling on creative Sarawakians to submit their designs before the closing date.
“The logo design must include the colours of the Sarawak flag, which reflects our spirit,” he told reporters after chairing a meeting at PBB Headquarters here yesterday. He said the winning logo would then be selected as the party’s logo.
“The winning logo design will be awarded RM10,000, while the second and third runner-up winners will go home with RM5,000 and RM3,000 respectively. “Participants are encouraged to send a hard copy of the logo design,” Nanta said.
The Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development added that there were also five consolation prizes of RM1,000 to be won. Registration forms can be obtained at GPS working committee’s office at Lot 401, Jalan Bako, Petra Jaya.
