KUCHING: A total of 18 National Day babies were born at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) here while two others were born at Kuching Specialist Hospital (KPJ) here, yesterday. At 3.00 pm yesterday, a spokesperson from SGH Labour Ward said the 18 babies comprised nine boys and nine girls.
“The babies were delivered both normally and by cesarean,” she said during a telephone interview yesterday. She added that the first National Day baby was a boy, born at 1.15 am and weighing 3.09kgs.
Meanwhi le, ac cording to aspokes person from KPJ nursery, the two National Day babies are boys. “The first baby boy was born at 12.16 am followed by another baby boy born at 12.52am,” the spokesperson said.
