KAPIT: The Chee Quan Khor Moral Uplifting Society Kapit donated RM2, 000 worth of food items in the form of rice, biscuit, cooking oil, cordial drink, sugar, coffee and eggs to 20 hardcore poor. Each recipient received about RM100 worth of food items.
The handing over of the food items held at the association’s premises at Jalan Padang Sukan here recently, a Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Tapah Ata.
Also present were chairman of the society, Yii Kau Chai, the society’s advisors Pemanca Yong Fook and Penghulu Sia Shui Poh and committee members.
