MIRI: The Northern Sarawak Journalists Association’s (NSJA) ‘Sayangi Miri Tahun Baru Cina 2022’ photography contest has received 120 entries.

“Every photo would be posted by the organiser on NSJA’s official Facebook page for viewers to click and like, and photos with the most ‘like’ would stand a chance of winning ‘the like and share’ award,” said NSJA president Andy Jong Wan Joon.

He added that viewers could both like and share or comment on the post to double their chances.

The voting period ends on Feb 28. A total of RM5,000 worth of prizes will be given out to the top four winners.

Consolation winners and winners for most liked and shared photos will also walk away with cash and certificates.

The contest is aimed at promoting Miri’s tourism spots.
