KUCHING: The fifth edition of Ora Et Labora Run, which was held on Dec 3 last year in conjunction with the 140th anniversary of St Joseph’s Secondary School, here managed to collect RM20,000.

According to the organising spokesperson, the annual run organised by the Old Josephians’ Association (OJA) had attracted 1,205 runners, comprising present students of SMK St Joseph and St Joseph’s Family of Schools, ex-students of the schools and members of the public.

“The main objective of the OJA in organising the annual event is to raise funds for extra-curricular activities.

He added that a cheque of RM10,000 each was also handed over by OJA president, Datuk Seri Prof Dr Sim Kui Hian to SMK St Joseph’s principal, James Chen and St Joseph’s Private School’s chief executive officer, Christopher Chua at the school compound recently
