KUCHING: Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) branches in Sarawak and Sabah have been granted full autonomy to run their party affairs independently of its supreme council.

Its president Datuk Larry Sng said this is in view of PBM recognizing the unique history of Sarawak and Sabah.

He made these remarks in a Facebook post after attending the party’s annual general meeting (AGM) on Saturday (July 29).

Sng also mentioned that the PBM’s AGM was well-organised, and the delegates present were highly motivated.

“I foresee great things moving forward and a new beginning for PBM,” he said.

He also emphasised that the party’s direction is crystal clear, wherein they support the Unity Government.

“In addition, we are and will always be a multi-racial party that addresses the interests of all Malaysians.

“We are working in tandem with the government leadership, and we shall continue to contribute positively towards nation-building,” he said.
