PKRC Unimas gets health equipment

KUCHING: The Covid-19 Quarantine and Low-Risk Treatment Centre (PKRC) at Rafflesia College, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) here received various equipments to facilitate operation of the centre.

The equipments were contributed by Jom Pharmacy Sdn Bhd, Sharing Planet Sdn Bhd, Ori Pasti Ori (Kuching) Sdn Bhd and an anonymous donor.

Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng handed over the equipments on behalf of the donors today.

The donation comprised six sets of digital thermometer scanners with stands, six sets of blood pressure-checking apparatus, six sets of blood oxygen level (SpO2)-monitoring apparatus, six sets of weighing scales, five wheelchairs and two commode chairs.

Wee thanked the donors for their contribution, adding that the equipments would help in ensuring that operations at the PKRC run smoothly.

“These companies have shown a good example by giving back to the society during the pandemic,” he observed.
