LUNDU: Three homeowners in Kampung Stunggang Melayu can now breathe a sigh of relief as their homes have been renovated under the Sarawak Poor Housing Repair Project (PPRMS) by the Sarawak government.

Previously plagued by worn-out and unsafe floors and walls, the homeowners now have brand new replacements.

Hamzah Ahmad, Sahar Dani, and Asmah Bujang thanked the state government for its concern regarding their well-being.

Hamzah Ahmad received assistance in repairing the floor of his home, while Sahar Dani’s house underwent repairs to the walls, doors, and windows in Kampung Stunggang Melayu Lama. Asmah Bujang, residing in Kampung Stunggang Melayu Baru, received aid in repairing the walls, floors, and windows.

Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan recently visited the project site, providing the three recipients with food baskets. He expressed his gratitude and satisfaction in witnessing the families now living in safe and comfortable homes.

Accompanying Azizul were Penghulu Jamer Katai, village head Azmi Mahdar and Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Tanjong Datu branch youth chief Rhadzie Kasim.
