KUCHING: A state-level Buy Malaysian Products Campaign carnival and Hawkers and Small Traders Celebration Day 2019 will be held at MJC Batu Kawah here from Oct 18 to 20.

Themed ‘Malaysia Made Products’, the three-day event, organised by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP), aims to promote local products while showcasing goods and services from local entrepreneurs. It will be on from 8am to 10pm daily.

“It is one of the government’s initiatives to assist local PKS entrepreneurs in marketing their products,” said KPDNHEP Deputy Minister Chong Chieng Jen in a press conference at the ministry’s office, Jalan Tun Jugah here yesterday.
