KUCHING: The Sarawak State Library (Pustaka Negeri) and all its branches will be closed from Feb 1 to 2 for the Chinese New Year celebration.
Pustaka Negeri would resume operations on Feb 3, a statement said on Monday (Jan 24).
The management would also like to wish the Chinese community a Happy Chinese New Year.
The public are reminded to use Pustaka Negeri’s free services such as Pustaka Sarawak Channel and BookBear Services.
Pustaka Sarawak Channel is a platform to broadcast programmes and activities on its YouTube channel.
Users can access it at https://www.youtube.com/user/PustakaSarawak/
BookBear is a direct-to-home book lending service.
It can be accessed through the Angka.sa2 application for free and users can download the app on Google Play Store or the App Store.
Operating hours are from 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays.
