MIRI: A hungry python measuring about five-foot long somehow managed to slip into a chicken coop and after devouring two chickens became too tired or too heavy to slip out.
The incident happened in Kampung Sentulang, Lutong here yesterday (June 12).
The Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) said the snake, weighing about 6kg, was spotted by a 59-year old houseowner around 6.40 pm yesterday. The reptile had a bulge in its belly after swallowing two chickens.
It didn’t take long for the APM personnel to arrive at the scene and capture the snake.
