SERIAN: RED FM, A local radio station operated by Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM), has launched RED Care.

The new programme is the station’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative dedicated to aid the less fortunate members of the Sarawak community.

RED Care’s logo was officially launched by Serian MP Datuk Seri Richard Riot Jaem during the Red Dragon Showcase 2024 programme held at the SJK Chung Hua Serian on Saturday night (Jan 27).

In his address, Riot expressed gratitude to RTM for choosing Serian as the programme’s location and suggested similar initiatives for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Gawai Dayak celebrations.

He said such programmes symbolise harmony and unity among the diverse communities in Sarawak.

“Despite our different religions and ethnicities, we are one. We are united. Unity in diversity. That is our strength.

“On the occasion of Chinese New Year 2024, let us commit to maintaining unity and tolerance among religions to ensure Sarawak will prosper and flourish.
