MIRI: Schools in the Pujut constituency will be allocated a grant of RM100,000 each for the purpose of improving their facilities said Pujut assemblyman Adam Yii Siew Sang.

“We want to create a better environment for students so that they can grow up in a holistic manner,” he said when speaking to reporters on Wednesday.

Earlier, Yii who is also the Miri mayor conducted a site visit to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Anchi to inspect the school facilities.

Yii said the school has been given a grant worth RM100,000 under last year’s RTP allocation for the purpose of upgrading its multi-purpose court in the school’s car park area.

The construction work for the project, which started on November 29 last year, is expected to be complete by the end of this month.
