KUCHING: The Public Works Department (PWD) Sarawak is reminding the public of a route change happening along the Moyan traffic light intersection on the Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak project.
According to the press release issued today(Feb 16), the deviation at the aforementioned area will be implemented to allow construction activities to be carried out beginning at 10 am Feb 20 onwards to Feb 28.
“The location affected will be from Bau to Kuching and from Matang to Bau.
“Road users are advised to be cautious when driving on the route while the work is being done and to pay close attention to all traffic control for safety, meanwhile road users are advised to plan their journey in the affected areas,” it said.
The contractors will notify on any changes to the date or area involved during the work.
PWD apologised for any inconveniences that may have been caused, and any complaints or any queries on the traffic flow may be directed to the PWD Sarawak Pan Borneo Highway Unit at 082-230 879.
