MUKAH: The Sarawak National Youth Organisation (SABERKAS) for the Tellian branch has a new chairman for the year 2023 until 2026 in Royston Valentine.
He was chosen in the organisation’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) spearheaded by Tarmizi Karnain Abdah, a Sarawak SABERKAS executive committee member.
The AGM held at the Seri Pekala Hall, in Kampung Kuala Lama on Saturday (March 18) placed Jay Keram and Fauziah Adeni as deputy chairmEn for SABERKAS Tellian Branch.
Alongside them are SABERKASS secretary Nur Syuhaida Mohd Saifuddin assisted by Kiu Sze Hui and Herman Tabu, followed by the treasurer who will be appointed in the coming SABERKAS Exco meeting.
Six other committee members would form the SABERKAS Exco who will represent different areas within Tellian.
Mohamad Sulaiman represents Kampung Tellian Laut, Maslinda Masli (Kampung Sungai Pegei), Kasumajaya Nasiri (Kampung Judan) George Takin (Bukit Ingkerbai), Sharudin Lalong (Kampung Datuk) and Boniface Kwin represents Sungai Baoh Chelum.
Royston also took time to congratulate all the appointed and selected exco members.
“Congratulations to Mohd Sulaiman for being one of the committee members for SABERKAS Tellian branch 2023 to 2026 session,” he said.
