KUCHING: Saraneo Holdings has opened a new office here to expand its supply of firefighting equipment, renewable energy and property development services in the state.

Officiated by the Premier’s Special Representative Datuk Naroden Majais, its new office is located at Jalan Rubber here.

Naroden said Saraneo’s new office is located in a very strategic location, in a commercial area – in the centre of the city.

Therefore, he said with the establishment of this new office, the people of Sarawak should adapt to new ideas and dare to face challenges outside the conventional way.

“People need to always find new ways in business management, especially speeding up the management process, improving to meet the needs of customers.

“Always be optimistic rather than pessimistic because being pessimistic will only make one less confident, always in a state of fear of difficulties compared to those who are optimistic, who always like challenges and create more business space,” he said.

Naroden, who represented Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Ali Hassan said this when officiating at the opening on Sunday (Feb 19).

Naroden, who is also an adviser to the Ministry of International Trade, Industry and Investment, added that there are now many business opportunities especially after the Covid-19 pandemic because the population in Malaysia and the world is increasing.

With this increase, he said, the needs of the people, food, clothes, and houses also increase.

“When we have a younger generation that is more educated, they will get better jobs with good wages.

“The next generation will be more sophisticated, have stronger purchasing power, choose and want new things … all these so-called needs and desires need to be satisfied,” he said.

Accordingly, he urged all businessmen and entrepreneurs today to learn and accept new ways especially using digital technology to do business.

Saraneo has been operating in Sarawak for eight years in the oil and gas industry in Miri, supply fire fighting equipment, renewable energy and now property development.
