KUCHING: The Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) has extended an invitation to the public, including school students, universities, and research institutes, to join the Sarawak Biodiversity Centre (SBC) Biodiversity Day.
This event, organised in conjunction with the International Day for Biological Diversity, will take place on May 27 at SBC located at KM20, Jalan Borneo Heights, Semenggoh near here.
From 8am to 5pm, attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant biodiversity of Sarawak.
The event promises an array of captivating games that challenge knowledge and skills related to the world of science. Participants can also embark on guided jungle treks with expert guides to uncover the hidden treasures of nature.
One of the highlights of the event is an extraordinary exhibition that showcases the wonders of Sarawak’s precious biodiversity.
“Immerse yourself in an extraordinary exhibition that showcases the wonders of our precious biodiversity. From rare flora to fascinating fauna, you’ll be amazed by the sheer beauty and diversity surrounding us,” SBC said in a Facebook post on Friday (May 19).
