KUCHING: Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) has officially confirmed the unfortunate passing of one of its employees in Bintangor, Sarikei on Sunday (May 7).
“Medical officers certified the employee’s passing at 4.59pm on the same day,” SEB said on Monday (May 8).
“The entire SEB team expresses deep sadness and extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased employee.
“Out of respect for the family and loved ones of the departed, SEB asks that the public avoid speculating on the cause of death and to refrain from spreading unconfirmed news.”
As the incident is currently under investigation, SEB assured full cooperation with the authorities in order to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the tragic death.
