SPAOH: Community wellbeing is one of the state government’s missions to achieve social inclusivity in line with its policy of ‘leave no one behind’.

Deputy Minister for Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development, Mohamad Razi Sitam said every Sarawakian must be assisted to ensure every citizen is healthy and prosperous and contribute to the economic development of Sarawak.

“As a result of community input through this Randau Kesejahteraan Komuniti (RKK), the Sarawak Social Development Council will be able to share feedback and community needs with related agencies and stakeholders for policy formulation, developing and implementing programmes and social interventions,” he said during the RKK Spaoh District held at Kampung Bungin on yesterday (Nov 16).

The Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) reported that the RKK programme aimed to give the community an opportunity to share input on local development and social issues in addition to getting the latest information about government assistance and services.
