SARIKEI: Sarikei Division will host the Majlis Sukan Sekolah Sarawak (MSSS) badminton meet at the Dewan SMK Tinggi here from Feb 6 to 8. Sarikei Division will be represented by Wong Shin Yuan (SMK Tinggi) and Ezekiel Collin Nicholas (SMK Bandar Bintagor) in the boys’ under-18 singles and Wong Siew Siew (SM Ming Lik) and Lau Zi Ying (SMK Tinggi) in the girls’ under-18 singles.
The other players in the squad are Ezikiel-Mohd Hapizee Ibrahim (SMK Bandar Bintangor) and Wong Shin Yuan-Lau Ung Kiong (SMK Tinggi) for the boys’ under-18 doubles, Chiew En Xi-Lau Zi Ying (SMK Tinggi) and Winnie Kiu for the girls’ under-18 singles, Wong Shin Han and Fletcher Entring for the boys’ under-15 singles and Philip Kiu-Fletcher Entering and Terry Lim-Wong Shin Han for the boys’ under-15 doubles. Sharifah Danamalyaana and Marylyn Wong will compete in the girls’ under-15 singles while Marylyn Wong-Yung Siew Ying and Sharifah Danamalyanan-Selina Ting in the girls’ under-15 doubles.
Representing Sarikei Division in the under-12 singles are are Yeong Teck Kwong and Alvin Pareira (boys’ category) and Lei yi Ling and Marrion Chiew (girls’category). For the under-12 doubles, Sarikei Division representatives are Chiew Hock Kiong-Yeong Teck Kwong and Alvin Pareira-Fernanden Singgam (boys’ category) and Lei Yi Ling- Marrion Chiew and Felicia Cynthia- Florence Nana (girls’ category).
