ASAJAYA: The search and rescue (SAR) operation for Hamzah Dipi, believed to have gone missing while fishing, enters its third day today.
Day Two yesterday saw 48 Bomba personnel involved in the operation to locate the 49-year-old Hamzah at Kampung Sebandi Ulu.
In the operation that started at 8.15am, firefighters in boats combed the area in a three-nautical-mile radius.
The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency also joined the search, combing an area in a six-nautical-mile radius.
However, rescuers did not find any sign of the missing man.
Hamzah, who is a fisherman, set out at 1am last Sunday. He was missing when his boat and equipment were found in the middle of the sea in the morning.
