SFC’s study visits enhance knowledge on national parks

MIRI: Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) staff embarked on an enriching journey, delving into the heart of nature’s wonders through immersive study visits to Gunung Mulu National Park, Niah National Park, and Piasau Nature Reserve.

SFC’s Facebook post stated the trip was to acquaint them with the region’s central hub and enriching their understanding through study visits.

“The trip commenced at Gunung National Park with activities such as visit to Deer Cave, Long Cave, Penan Market and Clear Water Cave as well as Bat Observation and Canopy Walk.

“The next trip then continued to Niah National Park where they visited Niah Museum and Niah Caves including Trader Cave, Grate Cave and Painted Cave,” it said.

SFC added that Piasau Nature Reserve would be their final place to visit for the trip to deepen their knowledge and understandings about national parks and nature reserve.
