SIBU: Sharp Malaysia Sales and Service Company Sdn Bhd (SMSS), in partnership with its dealer, Ngie Ann Trading Sdn Bhd is organising a roadshow in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year (CNY) festive season.
Dubbed the Sharp Prosperity Blossoms roadshow, the event held from January 25 to 28 at the Star Mega Mall Sibu and this is the first time that Sharp organises such an event in Sibu.
Designed as part of Sharp’’s continuous on-ground activities to reach a wider range of consumers, the roadshow aims to bring Chinese New Year joy and excitement to the consumers in Sibu.
Naturally, Sharp is showcasing its current product line-ups including the brand’s full range from LCD TV to refrigerators, air-conditioners, air purifiers, washing machines and microwave ovens. There will also be demo sessions where visitors get to experience Sharp products up close and personal.
“This roadshow series is an ideal platform to bring Sharp’s products closer to consumers in a welldesigned conducive set-up with exciting promotions and activities to hype up the atmosphere, especially during this festive season,” said, SMSS’s Kuching Senior Branch manager, Johnny Chan.
During this four-day event, there will be a lot of special discounts, Purchase with Purchase (PWP) and free gifts on offer.
There will also be lucky draws to spice up the event, leading up to the Chinese New Year period. “While sales are important, another main objective for this roadshow is to enhance Sharp’s brand awareness and exposure among the general population, in this case to the Sibu and Sarawak population,” added SMSS Head of PR and Advertising Burhanuddin (Bob) Kahar.
“That’s why we have lined-up quite a number of activities to attract visitors to his event,” he said. Apart from that, members of the public can come to the Ngie Ann Trading Sdn Bhd, No 30-32-34, Pedada Road, Sibu and its open daily from 9am to 9pm while 9am to 3pm on public holiday and Sunday.
