BETONG: Three siblings were injured after their car skidded into a drain near Layar junction here, today.
Firemen from the Betong Fire and Rescue Department, led by officer Henry Jugah, rushed to the scene upon receiving a distress call on the collision at 1.53am.
“Two men and a women were found in a sedan that swerved away towards the drain and they managed to escape from the crashed vehicle.
“Two of the victims sustained minor injuries but one of them is suffering from a broken right thigh,” Henry said.
They were on their way home in Entanak from Rumah Panjang Serudit when the incident happened.
He said the siblings have been taken to Betong Hospital for further treatment.
