MIRI: The SmartOne Project Multimedia Education System implemented by Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (SJK) Tukau is very practical to today’s learning methods, said Dr Ripin Lamat.

According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), the Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development II said apart from using the latest technology system, this method also succeeded in attracting the attention of students to study and reducing the burden of heavy school bags among pupils.

He recommended using this SmartOne Project in the learning and teaching process in other schools.

“I think other schools should use this technique. One, it greatly appeals to the students and secondly reduces the burden of students carrying heavy schoolbags and the contents are also updated.

“I hope this will improve the performance and results of this school,” he said at the handover of the SmartOne Project Multimedia Education System held at the school recently.

Meanwhile, Dr Ripin who is also Lambir assemblyman asked the school to think of the best proposal to upgrade the SJK Tukau Hall.
