SIBU: Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Kampung Nangka has recently organised the ‘Majlis Restu Ilmu SPM dan STPM 2024’, a ceremonial event for students preparing for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) examinations.

Its principal Azlinda Mohd Nor said that the event saw participation from 144 SPM and 31 STPM candidates from the third semester.

“The programme is designed not only to foster closer ties between parents and teachers but also to provide students with the emotional and moral support they need before stepping into the examination hall,” Azlinda said in her speech at the event.

She further highlighted the critical role of parental involvement in ensuring their children’s success in the upcoming examinations.

“It’s crucial for parents to be extra vigilant, particularly regarding their children’s safety during this critical time,” she said.

Azlinda also shared that the school has been actively running several programmes throughout the year to aid candidates in excelling in their exams.
