BINTULU: Women entrepreneurs are encouraged to step forward to promote their products to the global market.

Pelagus assemblyman Wilson Nyabong Ijang said they needed to be smart in finding every space and opportunity to generate more income.

He said, businesswomen who initially run their enterprises on a small scale also had the potential to boost them to a better and more competitive level.

He also wanted women entrepreneurs today not to give up too easily or be afraid to face the reality and challenges of the entrepreneurial world.

“Any new thing that is ventured into will definitely have challenges and will not escape the test. You can’t just stop here without needing to continue gaining business knowledge, understand the ins and outs of the market and business competition,” he said when speaking at CC Beauty’s eighth anniversary dinner at one of the famous restaurants here, Saturday night.

He also expressed his appreciation on the success of CC Beauty’s founder, Cecilia Lagak, in running the beauty business that was pioneered eight years ago.
