State Library colloquium this April 5

KUCHING: The Sarawak Annual Librarians Colloquium 2021 (SAL.co 2021) will be held live stream at Pustaka Negeri Sarawak Channel via YouTube at 10am on Monday (April 5). The colloquium acts as a venue for librarians, especially in Sarawak, to share knowledge and experiences, and to interact and network. It is also to discuss issues affecting librarianship and to provide input to the stakeholders on policy issues affecting libraries and librarianship. The theme of this colloquium is ‘Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications for Librarians in Asean: Challenges to Librarians in Sarawak’. "We aim to look into the past, analyse the present and foresee the future," the Sarawak State Library (Pustaka) said in a statement.
