MIRI: Pustaka Negeri branch here is inviting the public to a talk on ‘Sarawak Lestari: Introduction to Recycle World’ by Eye 1 Recycle which will be held this Saturday (Mar 9).
The talk will take place from 2 pm to 4 pm at the 1st floor west court of Bintang Megamall.
In a statement issued today, it said that the talk is held in conjunction with ‘Hari Bersama Pelanggan’ and it is one of the initiatives by Pustaka Miri to strengthen Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in Sarawak specifically.
Therefore, the objective of this talk is to provide exposure to the public on the importance of recognising and learning how to recycle.
In addition, the talk could help to maintain harmony and cleanliness in the surrounding area and train people to practise a culture of recycling.
“Pustaka Miri hopes that the public can gain knowledge, learn, and understand the importance of fostering a love for the environment at the same time.
