KUCHING: A teenager was arrested by police after he ran amok and assaulting his older brother at a house in Kampung Kudei here on Wednesday morning.
It was believed that the incident occurred at around 2.00am when the suspect went into his older brother’s bedroom and attacked him.
Other family members who heard the commotion rushed to the room and called for an ambulance as well as the police after seeing the victim lying on the floor, groaning in pain.
The victim was taken to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment while the suspect was taken to a police station for questioning.
It was understood that it was not the first time that the suspect had assaulted his older brother.
