Telang Usan, Tanjung Manis turn yellow, Mukah orange

KUCHING: Telang Usan and Tanjung Manis districts have turned yellow after recording two and four local infection cases respectively today (Mar 12).

Meanwhile, Mukah district has changed its status to orange after recording a total of 22 cases of local infection in the last 14 days.

“Serian, Bau, Subis, Julau, Selangau, Betong, Meradong, Kuching, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri and Sibu districts remain as red zones with a total of 2,586 local infection cases recorded in the last 14 days.

“Meanwhile, Song, Sarikei and Dalat districts remain orange with a total of 77 local infection cases reported in the same period,” Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) chairman Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas said in a daily Covid-19 press statement today (Mar 12).

The yellow zones are Sri Aman, Kanowit, Samarahan, Belaga, Lundu, Bukit Mabong, Tatau, Marudi, Pusa, Asajaya, Beluru, Saratok and Sebauh districts, with a total of 109 local infection cases.

The other nine districts are green zones.
