Telang Usan turns green

KUCHING: Telang Usan district has changed its status from yellow to green after reporting no new local infection cases in the last 14 days.

“This brings the total number of green districts in the state to eight,” said Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a daily Covid-19 statement on Monday (April 5).

The other green districts are Dalat, Lundu, Pusa, Asajaya, Simunjan, Daro and Kabong.

Meanwhile, Sarikei, Beluru, Samarahan, Serian, Julau, Meradong, Kuching, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri and Sibu districts remain red after recording a total of 2,669 local infection cases in the last 14 days.

Marudi, Sri Aman and Kanowit districts remain orange with 90 local infection cases reported in the same period.

Yellow are Lawas, Bukit Mabong, Belaga, Betong, Lubok Antu, Tatau, Tanjung Manis, Song, Matu, Pakan, Subis, Tebedu, Bau, Mukah, Selangau, Limbang, Saratok and Sebauh districts with a cumulative of 165 local infection cases.

Sarawak still has 39 active clusters at present.
