It can come from the top, or the bottom
Or from afar, or from places so strange
It can release you, or hold you to ransom
It is said — when the ground changes
One has to adapt to the change
The changes can be gradual, or furious
To survive, be in step with the change
It is said — first, the ground has to change
If change is what you want to see at the top
Or else, the top needs to lead the change
Setting the tone, as coming from the top
It is said — that change is a chimera
A thing hoped for, but is always illusory
As a mythical monster, it’s hard to decipher
But to master it, a true leader one must be
