Nura Valentiana Lorna

Nura Valentiana Lorna pointed out the convenience of breastfeeding for working moms, especially during nighttime feedings. However, the 28-year-old media practitioner also acknowledged the challenges of pumping at work, especially in her line of work where privacy is limited. She called for a nursing area in the workplace or a fridge for working mothers to store their milk. From a financial perspective, breastfeeding eliminates the need to purchase milk formula regularly, saving money in the long run, she added.

Overall, the perspectives of these working parents underscore the need for supportive workplace policies and environments to enable breastfeeding and promote the wellbeing of both parents and children.
