KUCHING: Starting from 3 pm on Nov 28, the Pan Borneo Highway around Jakar and Section Sarikei WPCO6 will have some road changes, according to the Public Works Department (PWD).
The department announced that certain routes will be closed, specifically at CH41+170 and CH43+850 on the left-hand side (LHS). Concurrently, temporary diversion routes will be opened at the same coordinates on the right-hand side (RHS).
“The road changes are to ensure that the construction works can be carried out,” PWD said in a statement today (Nov 24).
Motorists are advised to exercise caution while traversing these routes during the construction period and to adhere to all traffic management protocols for safety.
“The contractor will inform you if there is any change in the date or area involved with these works,” the statement added.
